Brotus, Timothy and Frederick reached Frey. First off they got Grynar’s body delivered to an undertaker, then Brotus and Timothy went to the guild, carrying their two comatose crew mates, while Frederick guarded the ship. At the guild the pair told their story (with some parts left out) and found that none of their guild mates had seen them for the last two years.
Leaving the common room, they talked with the guild master Treybin, and found that they had disappeared during a standard smuggling mission, smuggling spice for the nobleman Baron Saros. Saros was not pleased.
Also while talking to Treybin, they got the two crew members handed over for medical care, and got Timothy registered as the new captain of the Void Dragon.
After getting these formalities handled, the pair went to the Golden Goose, and spent the evening luxuriating with plenty of good food and hot bathwater.
The next day they ventured out to get some more crew for their vessel and hiredthe mage, the cook and the carpenter. While Frederick got the new crew members settled, Brotus and Timothy then decided to go out and find some work. Two jobs on the board spoke to them, one was a jail break, the other was a kidnapping mission.
Seeking to find out more, they first talked with Larisia Freywald, a dwarven merchant. After they found out that the job involved getting a prisoner out of Breaker’s Rock they decided to look at the other assignment first.
This took them back to the Golden Goose, where they talked with Maximillian, a bard. She wanted to hire them to help her kidnap a druid visiting Reyfall. Timothy got her negotiated up to 650 gold for the job, and within a few hours the group was on its way. Over the next six days, Maxie, as she prefered to be called, turned out to be an excellent musician, a good void sailor and generally a charismatic and agreeable individual.
The group stopped for a short break at Glendale, before heading on to Reyfall.
